The Soul Stirrer, producer, & songwriter, gained his passion for beat making from listening to the greats like Dj Premier, Jay Dilla and Ali Shaheed Muhammed & Q-Tip. What's Ironic is that his sound cant be any further from those great producers. Forever paying homage to those who have come before him but yet realizing that the new wave of music has to "go beyond Dilla," The Soul Stirrer has managed to push the envelope of creativity. Blending a nostalgic potion of raw hip hop drums with ambient keyboard/bass melodies, these soundscapes are sure to tickle the fickle ear drums of even your harshest Hip Hop Snob.
